How do I register a domain name with CloudWebs?

Visit our Domain Search tool on cloudwebs.com.au/domains, enter your desired name, and follow the checkout process.

How do I transfer a domain from another provider?

Make sure your domain is unlocked, obtain the EPP/Auth Code, and initiate the transfer from our Domain Transfer Page.

How long does domain propagation take?

It may take 24–48 hours for DNS changes to propagate worldwide.


2. Web & Cloud Hosting

What’s the difference between Linux Hosting and Cloud Hosting?

  • Linux Hosting: Shared, affordable, suitable for standard websites

  • Cloud Hosting: Dedicated resources, scalable performance, VPS-level control

How do I upload my website files?

Use File Manager in cPanel or an FTP client like FileZilla. Upload files to the /public_html directory.

Can I host multiple websites on one plan?

Yes, if your plan supports addon domains. Use cPanel > Domains > Addon Domains.

How do I create a domain-based email account?

Go to cPanel > Email Accounts > Create, then set the mailbox name, domain, and password.

What are the email server settings?

Use mail.yourdomain.com with IMAP/SMTP ports:

  • IMAP: 993 (SSL)

  • SMTP: 465 or 587 (SSL/STARTTLS)

Why aren’t my emails arriving?

Check:

  • Your MX records

Where do I find my invoice?

Log in to your dashboard > Billing > Invoices. You can download PDF invoices or resend to email.

Why haven’t I received my order confirmation?

Check your spam or promotions folder. If still missing, contact support.

Can I change my payment method?

Yes. Go to Dashboard > Billing Details and update your payment method securely.
